To celebrate the Museums Association’s (MA) 125th anniversary, Arts Council England (ACE) and the MA are offering 50 subsidised places at £125 each for first-time delegates from small- to medium- sized museums at the annual conference and exhibition in Cardiff.
The places, worth £460 at full price, include all sessions, receptions, workshops, refreshments, lunch and evening events on both days. The offer does not include travel or accommodation.
Delegates at Cardiff 2014 will benefit from a series of practical sessions over two days on collaborative working, partnerships, fundraising, and entrepreneurial skills, as well as keynote speeches from sector leaders and a number of networking opportunities.
This special offer is first-come-first-served, and is open to first-time delegates from small- to medium-sized museums (ie with an annual operating budget of less than £305,000) in England, with priority given to organisations that have not sent delegates before. Subsidised places will be available for one delegate per museum.
