You will be an Events Services Supervisor, providing a high level of vital customer service, operational organisation and technical support for Museum events. This will involve working irregular hours primarily evenings and weekends in order to ensure high quality event delivery. You will also be supervising a team of event staff who are welcoming to visitors, knowledgeable of events and helpful to organisers and attendees.

You must enjoy leading a team, and bring enthusiasm to everything we do by proactively engaging with people, collections and the building.  You will enjoy working in a busy, demanding environment and managing events through from set up, to returning the spaces back ready for the next day’s activities.

You will be based at the Manchester Museum, however, to maintain operational effectiveness you may also work at the Whitworth as required.
