We’re pleased to be able to share details of our first Volunteer Development Programme which will take place in early 2016. This three-day programme will focus on a number of aspects regarding the recruitment of, and retention of volunteers in museums:
Thursday 28th January – 10:00 – 16:00 – Developing Meaningful Roles
Wednesday 3rd February – 10:00 – 16:00 – Understanding and Engaging Volunteers & Making your Organisation Attractive to Volunteers
Thursday 11th February – 10:00 – 12:30 – Developing Meaningful Roles
All sessions will take place at Manchester Museum.
The programme is aimed towards museums that would like to start a volunteer programme and those that currently have volunteers and would like to recruit more. It would be beneficial for delegates if they were able to attend all three sessions but not essential.
