Sam Cairns from the Cultural Learning Alliance will lead a seminar on the benefits to cultural organisations of becoming a school governor. Kathy Desmond Chair of the Liverpool Governors Forum will also present on the transferable skills developed by  being a school governor. Come and find out more about the benefits of being a school governor and what the role involves and how you can best support a school and impact on the direction a school takes. Come and find out how schools work from the inside and how you can offer your skills and knowledge in a key role.

    Will there be any other meetings of this type? Unfortunately the date clashes with the Arts Exchange meeting that Lancashire Arts Partnership has arranged and I imagine a lot of the target people will be at that – Darren Henley is coming to speak.
