Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic individual to work with the learning and curatorial teams at the Laing Art Gallery. The internship will include assisting in the delivery of the Changing Landscapes, Changing Lives project. This Heritage Lottery Fund funded project is part of the Archives and Access programme which is led by Tate.
This is an exciting opportunity to begin a new career in the cultural sector. The successful candidate will be learning on the job with a supervisor to support you. They will learn new skills and gain valuable experience of working in an art gallery environment. Individual work-based learning will be combined with a programme of other activities and visits to develop skills which will help in finding employment or further training at the end of the programme.
