There are a limited number of places left on PEARL Advisor Training (Personal Employability, Achievement and Reflection for Learning) on Friday 29th January.
PEARL is a national qualification, accredited by GQAL that will enable you to accredit the softer skills that we know are developed through participation in the arts. It supports the development of key transferable skills that can be taken forward into all areas of life, especially employment or further study. The five areas PEARL is focused on are, self-awareness, social skills, managing feelings, empathy and motivation. PEARL can work alongside Arts Award to enhance your offer to children and young people
The training takes place at Curious Minds, 23-27 Guild Hall, Preston, PR1 1HR, and costs £88 per person.
The cost of the training includes handbooks and example framework for delivery, advisor certification and registration. After the training your organisation will need to register as a centre. You will then be able to create a tailor-made programme to accredit the softer skills that are being developed through your work with children and young people.
