British Museum’s approach to developing the Objectively Speaking Conference is open to all suggestions, presentations, workshops and discussions.
They are looking for submissions from museum professionals, sector bodies representatives, academics, educators, early career scholars, & people working in the creative and digital industries with a relevance to the museum sector, with joint proposals across sectors or between museums and educators encouraged
The deadline for proposals is midday Friday 15 January 2016
With the support of the Vivmar Foundation, the Objectively Speaking Conference at the British Museum on Monday 4 April 2016 will recognise the expertise and experience of museum professionals and educators across the UK and will seek to open up the debate on object based teaching by providing a platform to share best practice and explore shared challenges.
The event will be free to attend and is aimed at those currently working in the in the museum, cultural, creative, academic and educational sectors.
