Museums of Cheshire will be hosting a one-day conference for anyone with an interest in museums, heritage and arts across Cheshire and further afield.
This conference, which will be taking place on 1 March at Pyramid, Warrington, will feature a mix of guest speakers including Peter Sandman from Liverpool LEP and Alison Duckworth from, Marketing Cheshire. The day will also provide delegates with case study presentations, panel discussion and workshops, as well as exploration of what the future holds for the region, and how museums can play their part in creating a more vibrant, sustainable and attractive place to live, work and visit.
The morning session will focus on sharing the results of MoC’s horizon scanning research, and exploring how Cheshire will be affected by developments in infrastructure, devolution, and trends in the visitor economy.
In the afternoon they will look at how Cheshire’s story of industry, creativity, and journeys, can be told through our extraordinary collections, creating positive social, economic and wellbeing impacts across the region.
