The fourth Working Internationally Conference, organised by NMDC and ICOM UK in partnership with Manchester Museums and Galleries, takes place on Friday 4 March 2016 at The Whitworth at the University of Manchester.
The theme of the conference is Working Internationally in Hard Times and speakers will outline how they have worked internationally to deliver activity which has an impact in four areas: health and well-being, knowledge and innovation, regional development, and developing good cultural and community relationships – all of which are key when museums need to vary their sources of income and funding. Maria Balshaw, Director of The Whitworth, is the keynote speaker.
For more information on the conference programme and to book tickets, please see here. Tickets are £35 and include lunch and refreshments.
