If you are exploring ways to make your industrial heritage site more sustainable economically, socially and environmentally, this free workshop – supported by Historic England and Museum Development North West – is for you.
Many industrial heritage sites have to consider new ways of working to ensure their economic sustainability but there are also plenty of opportunities to improve environmental credentials and to support the Green agenda through public engagement. With speakers from organisations including Historic England/Ironbridge Gorge Museum, Museum Development North West and Heritage Lottery Fund, the day aims to demonstrate ways in which industrial sites can improve their sustainability through presentations, case studies and group sharing and exploration of ideas.
Lunch will be provided and there will also be a guided tour of Catalyst Science Discovery Centre as part of the programme.
