We are currently looking for exceptional individuals to join our ambitious curatorial team to support our exciting growth plans for the future programme.

Lakeland Arts manages Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Blackwell, The Arts & Crafts House, Museum of Lakeland Life & Industry and Windermere Jetty, Museum of Boats, Steam and Stories.
£28,000-£32,000 + Benefits
As a member of the Senior Management Team you will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of innovative and ambitious exhibitions from initiating proposals to completion of the project in partnership with the Director Programming.
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience of working in a public art gallery/heritage venue curating and organising innovative and nationally recognised exhibitions using a range of media. You will demonstrate excellent collection care and management whilst leading and developing a successful team.
£25,000 + Benefits
Working collaboratively with the Programming team and partners you will be responsible for developing and delivering an ambitious and innovative programme of exhibitions alongside contributing to the care, research, development and display of Lakeland Arts collection.
You will have experience of working in a public art gallery/heritage site curating and organising innovative and nationally recognised exhibitions using a range of media with a proven track record of undertaking best practice in collection care & management.
