Booking is now open for the next WIRP Workshop, which will focus on developing international partnerships. The workshop, which will take place on 5 October 2016 at Horniman Museum & Gardens, London, has been developed in collaboration with Lucy Marder, Cultural Partnerships Officer at South East Museum Development (Hampshire Solent) and is for regional and local museums and galleries who are developing international partnerships, or interested in doing so. The workshop will blend learning from case studies and facilitated working in groups, and include time for networking with speakers and other participants.
Confirmed speakers include Tyne & Wear Archives and Museums and the Horniman Museum. Details of one more UK case study and an international speaker will be announced shortly.
The cost of the workshop for individuals and organisations with more than 20,000 visitors per year is £35, with a reduced fee of £25 for smaller organisations with less than 20,000 per year. The fee includes refreshments, lunch, and a delegate pack. Places are limited and all previous WIRP Workshops have sold out, so it is recommended that you book quickly to avoid disappointment.
