ACE Museum Resilience Fund Recipients Announced 

Arts council England (ACE) has announced the recipients of the second round of Museum Resilience Funding, totaling £12.2 million. The investment will help 94 museums and organisations around the country to become more sustainable and help to secure the future of our museums.

Successful North West applicants:

  • Redeye, the Photography Network – Photographic Collections Network
  •  Port Sunlight Museum – Role of the museum in the resilience of Port Sunlight
  • People’s History Museum – Builders & Dreamers: the future of ideas worth fighting for
  • Lancashire Museums – Waving Not Drowning
  • The National Trust – The Quarry Bank Project
  • Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery – Blackburn museum access programme
  • Helmshore Mills Textile Museum – Trust in the Future: Secure Lancashire Industrial Heritage
  • Canal and River Trust – Building resilience by safeguarding our collection
