Museum Development Project Officer – Leadership and Resilience
Salary: £25,694 – £27,394 pro rata (Scale H), pro rata for 0.8 FTE
Temporary contract until March 2018
SHARE Museums East is the Regional Museum Development Programme for the East of England. SHARE resources and brokers development opportunities for museums across the region and supports museums to deliver against the Arts Council’s five goals of Excellence, Audiences, Resilience, Leadership & Diversity and Children & Young People.
An innovative and confident person is required to plan, deliver and manage the SHARE regional workforce training programme. You will also deliver additional museum development projects focusing around museum governance and resilience, including developing a museum leadership programme.
You will have a track record of project management and delivery and be able to lead groups and facilitate training events. You will demonstrate awareness of established sector guidelines, legislation, policies and procedures and show understanding of how these will impact on future training and development needs. You will have excellent communications skills and be good at managing detail and working projects through to a successful conclusion.
