Wednesday 16 November
We’ve all heard that common lament that history is about dead white ruling men; but what of the untold stories that make up the rich fabric of history? The stories that help us to see the past through the eyes of those that lived it? From stories of ordinary men and women to our wide global cultural heritage, it is our job as history educators to weave these stories into the fabric of the history that we teach.
Join us at this special Northern History Forum looking at how we can tell these untold stories to our students.
As the exhibition was so well received at the previous events we would like to provide space for exhibitors at this event. The capacity for this event is 200 and is aimed at both primary and secondary teachers. To cover refreshment and administrative costs there will be a nominal charge of £20 which is non-returnable. This will cover the attendance of a maximum of 2 exhibitors on your stand. It will also entitle you to attend all the workshops etc.
As at previous events there will be an exhibition of stands from local and national organisations. Hodder Education are kindly sponsoring the refreshments including a wine reception at this event.
To book your place go to: store.leedstrinity.ac.uk (deadline 8 November).
