The People’s History Museum in Manchester are looking for three creative, strategic and solution focused individuals to join our team working across the organisation to deliver the museum’s ambitious Business Plan which includes a new themed programming approach based on seminal anniversaries including Votes for Women in 2018 and Peterloo in 2019.

Head of Collections & Engagement (£29,854)

You will have knowledge of 19th and 20th century British history and the work experience and creativity to make the collections PHM holds and the subjects with which the museum engages relevant to everyone.  You will be able to deal with complex and sometimes contentious topics in a considerate, equitable and engaging way.  You will be able to deliver all aspects of the museum’s programme led approach including the development of complex revenue generating projects to time and to budget.

Fundraising Manager (Individual Giving & Corporate Support) (£24,717)

You will have demonstrable experience in an individual giving environment, working with donors as part of a multi-disciplinary team – either through paid or voluntary experience.  You will be a pro-active, creative and enthusiastic team-player with keen attention to detail, as well as the ability to demonstrate creativity and decision making.  You will be able to manage projects on a tight deadline to budget and build strong working relationships with a variety of individuals.  You will have experience of managing or co-ordinating a small team.  You will be a solution focused person who is self-motivated and able to drive projects forward.
