Packard Curator – British Sporting Art
Full Time – 5 Year Fixed Term Contract
Salary – £35,000 to £40,000 (depending on experience) + Pension
Based Full-Time in Newmarket
The Packard Curator will be an integrated member of the curatorial team of the National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art (NHC) and will work closely with the BSAT Administrator. The post- holder will be a member of the BSAT Executive Committee and the Palace House Hang Committee. The Packard Curator will be responsible for the exhibition of sporting art in the Fred Packard Museum and Galleries of British Sporting Art at Palace House, Newmarket. The post represents an exciting opportunity to develop a specialist interest and expertise in British sporting art and to support the work of the British Sporting Art Trust in promoting the genre to a wider public. The role also includes responsibility for developing and curating temporary exhibitions of sporting art in both the large and small temporary exhibition galleries of the National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art.
