Tuesday 4th April
British Museum
09:30 – 13:00
Free

The session will work through a case study for the safe storage and handling of ceramic objects as part of an emergency decant at the British Museum, looking at the positives and negatives of moving a collection in this way.

This half-day session will take place at the British Museum on Tuesday 4th April 2017, and is free to attend for anyone working or volunteering in a UK museum, gallery or heritage organisation thanks to the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund. Places can be booked online here, and travel bursaries are available.

Booking details for the other sessions in our Collections Skills Sharing programme are online here.
