Salary Grade: Grade 8a, currently £38,183 – £41,709 pa

RNCM (Royal Northern College of Music) are looking to recruit a dynamic and innovative Head of Major Gifts to take a leading role in the continuing development and growth of philanthropic giving.

With the College’s rich cultural and educational history ever evolving, this role offers a unique opportunity to be part of the strategic development and advancement of a major gifts programme providing a crucial narrative in the next chapter of its story.

They are looking for an emotionally intelligent, creative Major Donor fundraiser. Someone with an intuitive understanding of the donor journey and the ability to galvanise a Board and senior volunteers to create an understanding and culture of philanthropy across the whole organisation.

RNCM are flexible on candidate background and able to consider people from a range of sectors including the Arts, higher education, charity and commercial. Above all else they are looking for drive, energy and passion. RNCM are also looking for exceptional communication skills and the ability to expertly engage supporters verbally and through compelling writing.
