Job Title:  Learning Officer: Schools & Families
Salary/Grade: £22,500
Location:  Blackwell, The Arts and Craft House, Abbot Hall Art Gallery and Museum of Lakeland Life and Industry 

Lakeland Arts is seeking a Learning Officer to develop, manage and deliver a learning programme for schools and families at Abbot Hall Art Gallery and Blackwell. 

You will lead the schools engagement programme, working closely with teachers, colleagues and other partners to deliver quality learning sessions and to grow and diversify the number of schools and pupils that visit our sites and engage with our collection. You will also deliver a comprehensive creative programme for families across the two sites linked to haft-terms, Easter and Summer holidays, plus special events and national initiatives such as Museums at Night, Big Draw and our flagship Summer Art Camp programme. 

The Learning Team has already received regional and national recognition for innovation.  This exciting role will see you join a highly qualified team to develop and deliver our engagement programme for schools and families. You will work closely with the Learning & Engagement Officer for schools and families at Windermere Jetty, the the Community Engagement Officer, the Head of Learning and Programming team.

Lakeland Arts is seeking a Learning Officer to develop, manage and deliver a learning programme for schools and families at Windermere Jetty Museum of Boats, Steam and Stories.

You will lead the schools engagement programme working closely with teachers, colleagues and other partners to deliver quality learning sessions and to grow and diversify the number of schools and pupils that visit our site and engage with our nationally significant boat collection. You will also deliver a comprehensive creative programme for families across the site linked to haft-terms, Easter and Summer holidays, plus special events and national initiatives such as Museums at Night, Big Draw and our flagship Summer Art Camp programme.
