July – November       30 hours (starting late July/early August)
30 hours across 4 days per week

Homotopia champions, develops and invests in artistic and cultural experiences that enrich people’s lives.

Homotopia produces year round engagement programmes and produces an internationally renowned arts festival every November. The organisation also has a groundbreaking social justice and heritage programme throughout the year & commissions a range of activities across the arts and museums – from theatre to digital art, to dance, live art & music to literature.


 Job description  

The role will provide organisational, curatorial and administrative support to the Artistic Director and coordinate the preparation and delivery of Homotopia Festival in Liverpool November 2017.

You will be part of a highly skilled team and will be based between the Homotopia office and occasionally work on site at various performance venues. You will be expected to work with a team of other freelancers including marketing, PR, videographer and finance officer both at the office and off site.

You will be computer literate, highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

The ability to prioritise and juggle multiple priorities & exercise effective judgement when managing tasks.

You will have first-rate interpersonal and communication skills – both speaking and in writing – and the ability to communicate in a confident and engaging manner at all levels. You will be an enthusiastic & proactive individual.

It is highly desirable that you will have strong marketing skills, an interest in popular culture, cultural diversity and the arts.

The role will be a fully interconnected structure that relies on collaboration, flexibility and the ability to operate within both formal and informal reporting relationships.
