Lancashire’s “LEADER” rural funding update

The “LEADER” rural development programme, run by Lancashire County Council, is now accepting new applications to various categories including:

Culture and Heritage
The Cultural and Heritage fund provides support for rural community organisations and landowners to help to promote, enhance and maintain cultural heritage assets in:

  • North and Bowland
  • Pennine
  • West

Tourism
The tourism funding is aimed at projects looking to undertake small scale developments, which build on the distinctiveness of rural Lancashire in:

  • North and Bowland
  • West
  • Pennine

Open calls will remain open until all the funds are committed. Applications will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.
