Being Inclusive: Inclusive training workshops for museums, libraries and archives

TramShed is an inclusive theatre company based in the northwest but working across the UK. Following the success of our recent HLF Young Roots programmes and our Arts-Council funded Muli Mutya, Lancashire project we’ve developed a dedicated inclusive training programme for staff and volunteers within the cultural sector and beyond.

Innovation and inclusion is at the heart of what we do. Our work in the community is fundamental as it allows us to access many people who have previously been excluded from the performing arts through no reason of their own. We are now sharing our approach with museums, libraries, galleries and archives.

What’s covered?

Our training offers an opportunity to learn more about the extensive elements of inclusion, how to incorporate inclusion into your environment/workplace, how to become an effective volunteer or support network, health & safety and how to apply original theatre to your work and storytelling. The training can be tailored to the needs and working environment of the client.
