Apprentice Visitor Services Assistant

The Harris Museum & Art Gallery are looking to recruit a motivated front line member of staff to provide a first class customer care service to all of their visitors.
They are proud of the services we provide to local people and visitors from all over the country. Duties include assisting visitors, working in the museum shop, cafe and security of exhibits for which full training will be given. Applicants must be adaptable and able to use initiative. Practical and manual handling skills are an advantage.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring check at standard level.

Programme Assistant (Apprenticeship)
As part of the Creative Employment Programme, we have a fantastic opportunity to join the Programme Team at HOME. You’ll be working in a key support role within the visual art and film teams of HOME, contributing to the effective running of HOME’s artistic programming. You’ll be responsible for managing the schedules of the Artistic Directors for film and visual art, managing guests (including visiting artists and filmmakers), and assisting with events and exhibitions.
This is an apprenticeship role, and alongside working at HOME you will complete a Level 3 qualification in Community Arts. You must be 18-24, resident in the city of Manchester, and not in education, employment, or training in order to apply.
