Great Exhibition of the North – A History of the North in 100 Objects Call for Objects

This summer will see the Great Exhibition of the North telling the dynamic story of the North of England (www.getnorth2018.com). Why not nominate an object from your collection for ‘A History of the North in 100 Objects’. This online exhibition will feature 100 objects from 100 northern museums that tell the story of the innovation and creativity of the North of England. This project is being led by Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums and is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. It is designed in part to demonstrate the wealth of objects held in the diverse range of Museums that exist across the North of England.

Further information about applying can be found in the invitation letter and Vision Statement.

To submit your nomination/s, simply complete the nomination form available here (one per item) and return to 100objects@twmuseums.org.uk by 5pm Monday 19 March.
