#MuseumCarbonStories social media campaign: running to 12th November 2021

The Campaign

The #MuseumCarbonStories social media campaign has been developed as part of the Roots and Branches project to support museums to become Carbon Literate and take action against climate change.

On the run up to and during COP26, #MuseumCarbonStories is an opportunity for museums to share what actions they have been taking against climate change. It is also a chance for the sector to broaden the conversation around the climate crisis with social media audiences using their collections. As a guide to get involved, we have put together a schedule of weekly themes for museums to respond to.

Campaign Hashtag: #MuseumCarbonStories

Others you might like to use:

 #COP26  #CultureCOP26  #RootsAndBranches  #CarbonLit #CultureTakesAction

For inspiration, search the hashtag to see how other museums have been getting involved.
